Hello, I have been overweight since I was very young. I always wonder why I was the largest daughter out of three children. Always told that I was just big boned, and how many times have we all heard that!! My father died at a young age from obesity and I want to break that cycle. I have done weight watchers 3 times and lots of other crazy diets and pills. Nothing seemed to work. As year s go on I have increased in size and did not have any control over my eating habits. Last year I went to Alaska but once on the airplane I could not fasten the seat belt. That was my breaking point and so ashamed. At this point I know that something had to be done to help me and help me to get healthy and live a fulfilling life have two daughters and two grandsons and I want to be around to see them and enjoy life watching them go on there journey in life.
I am having lap-band surgery on June 18th 2010 and ready to make that change.
I want to meet other people and form new friendship.
