Date moved...boo-hoo!

Due to technical dufficulities my surgery has been moved to the 25th of November. Happy Thanksgiving to me. I had some delays with my bloodwork which surprise me because I think they took out about 9 quarts. LOL...okay, maybe just 9 vials but it felt like more. I CAN'T WAIT!!! Loser's bench here I come...in 15 days and counting down!

I have switched my surgery site to Springdale, AR. It's about 3 hours from my home in North Little Rock so my family feels better about me having surgery. Needless to say my mom did freak out a little but it was more about going to Mexico than the surgery. Her main concern and in retrospect mine also is what if there was a complication of some sort and my doctor was in Mexico. So I'm buying local and am happy with my decision to use Dr. Roller for my sleeve gast. I have done all of the tests and my date is Nov. 12th...now it's a matter of marking off the days on the calendar.

This is a big day....I am going forward with my plans to have a VSG done by Dr. Alvarez in Mexico. SCARY! I now have to tell my mom, even scarier, and a few people. I think I will wait until everything is said and done to tell the world. I don't want everyone commenting on this decision...It's mine and I don't want to share. I'll update more as I get more into the process. Wish me luck!
