Hi I'm LB and I have a weight problem. Isn't that the first step...admitting you have a problem. Well, mine has been lifelong. I can't remember a time when I wasn't the chubby one in the crowd but looking back I didn't have a real problem until college and my weight since then has been up and down. You all know the yo-yo effect. I have probably lost and gained the weight of several small children. You all know the cycle lose some, gain more back. Also, I come from a family of the tall and skinny. I always say I got the short fat genes while my cousins got all tall and slender ones. One bright note is that I also got the boobs...they are all boob challenged.
I use my weight as a wall always the happy person in the crowd who really wants to fit in to a size 6 jean...okay right now I would settle for a size 12. I have to lose this weight for me because I want to get married, have children, run up stairs without feeling like I'm going to pass out, be able to shop for swimsuits without feeling fear (ladies you know what I mean
), I want to be healthy! It's time to start tearing the wall down.
