Hi Laura, Congratulations on your surgery this week. I'm almost 6 months Post-op and it's been a positive experience for me. Boy, is it hard to make the decision though! For me, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. Hang in there, keep it positive and I hope all your health and weight loss dreams come true. Best wishes,

Hi Laura. You are about to begin a wonderful journey. After surgery you may not feel so great. Be kind to yourslef and keep saying this will pass - because it will. As much as you may not want to, walking will help in lots of ways. The more you walk the faster you heal. It helped me to have a fantasy that the surgeon who did this to me was at the end of the hall and if I could just get there, I could slap heck out of him! (lol) Now he is one of my favorite people ;-) Hang in there and remember - It's a Wonderful Life!
