Latrisha: Just wanted to tell you I'm sorry you received so many negative responses on your choice of going to Mexico for surgery. I'm sure there are just as many of us who support you all the way. If I had to self-pay, I would certainly be exploring ALL my options as well. It sounds as though you've found the best for yourself. Best wishes for a perfect surgery and recovery.

Congratulations Latrisha, I sure know what a wonderful feeling is to finally have a date. I also know how stressfull it is to be self pay. I too was self pay and I traveled over 1000 miles away from home to have my surgery 02-24-03. I know how important it is to feel comfortable with your surgeon. I am so happy for you and will keep you in my prayers...
