Moving in a different direction/maybe for the best!

Well after long consideration between the two surgeons (my previous one and the possible new surgeon) I decided to go ahead and see what my original surgeon can do for me. I really liked the dr I had recently met, but I'm not trying to be in a massive amount of debt to have this corrective surgery. I have a family to think about before risking my finances.
So I met back with my old surgeon Dr. Kane who is equally amazing this week and he has me doing a few tests first to make sure nothing else is going on since I've had some abdominal issues then once all that information comes back we will discuss what we want to do next. He's thinking about the lap band for me, but I have to think about that. I had a problem back when I first got the surgery with that option only because I wasn't happy with having a foreign object in my body, but after a little research I realize it isn't that bad, but I have to still think about that.
I went today for my first tests which was to get a look at my gallbladder and small intestine to make sure my gallbladder doesn't need to be removed.
Hopefully by February 1st everything will be back and I will be another step closer to starting my life back over.

Well I went and had my consultation with the new surgeon and he was great and everything felt so right, until he suspected I have a hernia 
. Now I'm going to get some testing done on Monday morning and then I should hear back from surgeon by Tuesday and then he will tell me how he wants to handle this.
*Oh and another thing is he takes insurance, but of course with my luck, he is out of network
So even if we actually got my insurance to approve revision, I still have to pay something and the purpose of me electing the insurance I did this year is so I would not have any out of pocket expenses other than co-pays.
Well I'll keep everyone updated!

I'm anxious and nervous about tomorrow. It's my consulation with a new surgeon and I'm hoping all goes well and he agrees with me that I need a revision. If so, then that's just 1 step closer to achieving my goal.
