My story is that I allowed myself to get comfortable being overweight and soon it became too much. When I decided enough was enough and I needed surgery, I had reached 300lbs and I'm only 5'4. By the day I was scheduled to have surgery, I weighed in at 330lbs. 3 months after surgery, I got pregnant with my third child and I was so upset because I thought the surgery had been for nothing. Luckily I didn't gain any weight throughout the pregnancy (even though I looked like I did 
As of 08/01/07- a year later, I'm at 250lbs and counting down. I'm back on my diet and trying to get my excersize routine back started. I'm so thankful for my surgeon and I won't let him down.
