"I had an advantage over most people who are searching for a surgeon. I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Mailapur and see his work literally from the inside out. So when my family physician mentioned the procedure to me as an option, I already had a Surgeon in mind. My impression of him has not changed over time. It has remained constant. I believe that his attitude toward me has not changed, therefore my attitude toward him has not changed. He still remains a close friend and is genuinely concerned about my well being. His office staff was in a transition period when I started seeing him. However Bridgette has been wonderful throughout the whole ordeal. I think that the thing I like most about him is that he has a genuine concern for his patients. Not just about the surgery but about your quality of life. He will be with you for the long haul. Aftercare is very important to him. He has a support group available. He is very well rounded in his bedside manner and surgical competence. I think that both of these are very important."
