Kelly, As a person that is having WLS six days after you I asked myself what whould I want to hear this close to my surgery. I would want to hear that I am being prayed for and that my decision is the right one. I pray that your recovery will be fast and beyond your hopes. I ask that God watch over you and bring your through safely to the other side. Walk, cough and breathe deep as you being your new life. You are making the right choice to make a new life for yourself. God Bless you.

Kelly; Thank You for your kind words, and I pass the same on to you. I will be having my WLS on week from yours. I agree hole heartedly that Dr. Oh is the best WLS surgeon in the states. So is his staff. Also the hospital and their staff is second to none. I believe the Doctor, hospital, and staff has real <b><u>genuine feelings</u></b> for us and we are in good hands. Have a speedy recovery and in the near future when we are lighter on our feet, maybe we can all go dancing again.<b>:)</b>

Kelly, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. I wanted to post a note from your Grandma, but couldn't find were to do it. Anyway 12 more days, i am so excited for you. You are going to be doing a bunch of new things. I wish you all the best on your new life as a thin person!! I hope all your dearest dreams come true. I hope you have a safe, problem free surgery and a rapid recovery. Do you miss San Diego? It is a crowded but beautiful city. I have lived here since 1950 (I guess that tells my age!!!!) I had my surgery at Scripps/Mercy hospital in June of 2001 and I am doing great. I have lost 90 lbs so far. My DH had the same surgery, same place but in Oct, 2001 and he is doing even better. He has lost 145 lbs!! I am very proud of him. I know you will do just as well.
