Hello AMOS family. Well a few days ago, I finally made the century club. I had to wait a few days before posting it, because I was afraid that the scales would go back up. LOL. I had my anterior cervical discectomy done on Jan. 31, 2003. The dr. said it went well. I don't have the pain running down my right arm, so I guess that means it did. He removed 2 disks, did bone grafts on them and removed some bone spurs. All this was causing pinched nerves that were in turn causing the pain. I still have to go back to the orthopedic dr. soon. There is still a very good chance that I will have to have surgery on my shoulder for bone spurs there too. I have very limited use of my right arm because of this. I can still use it to pick things up ect. but can not get it up to my head or around front or behind my body. So, surgery is a good option. Not looking forward to another surgery, but I believe this one can be done as an outpatient procdure. So again, I wait and see. God Bless my AMOS family. {{{HUGS}}}.
