Well had a visit with my Primary Care doc last week and he gave his approval to stay off my blood pressure and diabetes meds. I had been getting lightheaded just a few days after surgery. So I started keeping track of my blood pressure and diabetic medications and stopped taking my meds. The PCP nurse was not real happy with me stopping the meds without being seen first but when I produced all the readings everything was much better.

Well Just had my one week follow-up with the surgeon. He was very pleased with how everything looked and how the changes are looking.  So far down 16 pounds.

Well got home from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon. The good Doc said he was very pleased how the surgery went and with my progress so far. We spent two nights in the hospital and from my view everything went very well. As of weigh in this morning, approx 7 lbs have been lost since leaving home on Monday morning. It should be interesting on the post-op visit on Monday.
