Hello to All,
So, yesterday (2/7/09) was my three year weight loss surgery anniversary (how time flies!) I'm very proud that I've been able to keep the weight off for this long. It's strange at times becuase I'm so used to losing then gaining, losing and gaining even more but this time it's just steady. Maintaining is difficult at times but not impossible. I weighed myself yesterday and the scale read 180! this is ten pounds more than I'd like but I think it's what I needed to see to scare me into cutting back on some of the bad food choices I've been making lately. So, time to cut back on some of the goodies without really obsessing too much about it. I guess that means no more pastries, pizza or rice cracker snacks! (I actually thought I was addicted to carbs at one point)..lol Anyway, many people think that just because you've have weight loss surgery you won't even have to worry about weight again, not true. Since having surgery I've realized that it's when the real work began but I would not have it any other way.
xoxo,
Jesus
