This weekend my Dr. support group had patient appreciation luncheon everyone who's lost over 100 lbs. was recognized it was an awesome and emotional day I added a picture of the day!

Down to 179 woohoo back to hte 70's ! I actually liked weighing in only oncea week it was more gratifying to see 4 lbs. drop at once rather than 1/2 a pound a day. maybe i'll stick with once a week.

5 months is passed already,i lost 9 lbs. this month. The weight loss is slowing down now but I don't have as much left to loose now , so that seems reasonable. i have about 38 lbs. left to reach my original goal of 145 and if I get there my June I will be very happy, thats about 8 lbs. a month well see. I can't belive i only have 38 lbs. left to be cosidered " normal ". I will post new pics later after i get my DH to take some .
feeling stuck

feelin' stuck 1 lb in 10 days !but my clothes are feeling loose so i am not worried just frustrated. It may also be my latest discovery ,every night I eat 1 tbsp. of chocolate chips 70 cal 8 sugar 9 carb. a tbsp is actually a lot I suck on them slowly till they melt away . It feels like a treat but I have to wonder if it's slowing my weight lose.
I changed my hair color to dark brown today , well at least 1/2 of it all the back it looks good just a drastic change , have to get used to it I am sure it will all be dark by next week!

Nothing new over here, just rain and snow!
I haven't weighed my self in a week because everyone was sick and my scale at home varies 3 lbs. every time you get on so I don't know what's right today i got 180 to 183 so I guess i'm some where in there tommorow i'll take the gym number for a keeper!

I love Trader Joe's. I just had some of their crab cakes taste great not so bad calorie wise 180 cal. 16 carb. 8 protein, 10 fat for 6 crab cakes. It was hard to eat 6 their a little bigger than a quarter each and i cooked them in the toaster oven . Good for an occasional treat, to mix it up a bit. they also sell bread sticks in parmasean like a very crunch cracker. for 2 stick which i can only eat 1 at atime they have 45 cal. 4 protein and 11 carb. a nice crunch snack.
We get our puppy today at 3 o'clock the kids are so excited! Me too! A little nervous I never had a pet before that was full time in the house so we will see I can't stand messes or smells so we will see how long he lasts in side full time!

So I saw the therapist today . i felt alittle weird at first then mad at him and left feeling encouraged so it was a good experience in all and he got me thinking of why did i start going to food to begin with. I think this might end up being the hardest part of , finding out what is really going on and dealing with some old hard issues, but you gotta deal with it. One thing i liked about him he called my mom the "ABUSER" so if she won't admit it, he can validate it. He gave me homework so we shall see what next week brings!

life has been so busy !! we are in the process of getting a 2 month old puppy this friday if all goes well, kids are excited it is the 1st dog for all of us so i don't really know what to expect.
I am going to seea "food" therapist to try to work thru some things this week . I have been snacking a lot since the holidays and feel a alittle out of control, if you take a little nibble on an big cake all day long , you eventually eat the whole cake without side effects bad discovery. I don't want to loose control and mess this up so i'm seeking help now! still loosing and shrinking but i don't want to play with fire >

so my goal this year is to workout mornings mon- fri and also evenings on m,w,f . I did it this week lets hope it stays strong! down to 190 today i feel great!
