Wow. My weight story. Hmm. Well for me, let me just say that I use to be a very active. I always considered myself an active person so why is it that I now weight 222 lbs at 32 years old? To answer that let me think back a few years. Back in "the day" my girlfriends and I partied beginning on Wednesday night and rolled until Sunday. When I say roll I mean dancing. We loved to go dancing. I had my share of boyfriends. We had a great time. Not to mention I also was showing horses at the time. All in all I was in good shape, not thin, but healthy. And then it happened....I met the man of my dreams and we got married. I don't mean that in a bad way but once I got married those dancing and party days ended. I didn't mind because we both rode horses every weekend and still didn't really notice a weight problem. A couple years passed and a few pounds later, the next bomb came....I mean blessing...(lol), I got pregnant. This was the worse pregnancy in the world. I did everything by the book to make sure I didn't gain alot of weight. I had watched "A baby story" on TV thinking it would be a sweet precious time but I was saddly mistaken. I developed the dreadful Toxemia (sp?). I bet I gained 45 lbs of fluid in no time but managed tomake it long enough to have my daughter Tanner at 36 weeks. It was like a snowball effect. When I went back to work I was determined to loose weight again. However I wasn't aware how much your life changes with a child. Fast forward 5 years. Since then I have tried every single thing out there as far as diets are concerned. You name it, I did it. My best success was the Richard Simmons diet. However I got bored with it and promptly put on the 35 pounds I lost + 5 more. I looked into weight loss surgery during one of those days when I hated how I looked. It didn't look like something I could have done or afford. It wasn't till some time later when I saw a commercial that I really decided to follow through. I know my relationship with food is about to change and I'm not much for change. However, in this case I am very excited!
