I have never known what it is like to be normal size. I have been told that even as a baby diapers were duct taped on me so that they would fit. I played football in Middle School and High School, which being big was not such a draw back. Since then I graduated from college, married the best woman in the world and have three children with one on a way. At my heaviest I was over 450 and had lost 100lbs with the low carb thing but gained it all back within a year. Understanding that I needed a permanent solution I began researching WLS. In the fall on 2006 I bagan working with Healthy Imagies Bariatric clinic out of Memorial Hospital in Owosso, MI. Because of insurance I had to be supervised for a year. During that year the best I was able to do was get to 430. When the year ended and the green light was given for the surgery that only hurdle before me was my hospitals requirment to be under 400lbs. After Thanksgiving 2007 I got serious and and began a limiting my intake and excersing 4-6 times a week. I feel great and with a few day to go till surgery now weight 396 clothed. I am excited about the future and discoving my full potential.
