Well, less than two weeks to go. Thanks to all of you for your support. Since my insurance did not cover the surgery, I am working on a pre-payment basis. Pre op testing on 12/08, surgery on 12/15. I had to stop taking my Bextra arthritis medicine for two weeks before the surgery, and Tylenol just doesn't help. Hard time functioning at work this week, but I can take it! I don't want to have my surgery cancelled again after having it cancelled last July, I'm ready!!!!!!Looking forward with great anticipation to losing weight and easing the burden on my weary bones!

I just wanted to say best of luck and God Bless You on December 15th. I too am a Kentucky teacher and also have a Dec. 15th surgery date. Neither of us will be having a large Christmas dinner, but it will certainly be worth it! You will be in my prayers and I ask that you remember me in yours. Sharan Howard
