I can't believe the first time I was here was 6/15/2006! That was over a year ago and I didn't try to spend much time here back then. I was curious about Bariatric Surgery and I found this OH site. Like I said, I don't spend much time on the old computer. A year ago, I think I was wondering if my insurance would pay for my surgery. Since then I've found that the odds are really stacked against it.  So now I'm back. Worse than I was then. HELP!

I did the wrong thing asking my doctor what he thought about me and bariatric surgery, cause he went and sent a referral to my insurance for an appointment with a surgeon at Salem Hospital, and my first appointment was denied! I needed to be the one to compile a packet of info for my insurance before that referral was made. Cause my doctor sure didn't put much effort into the info they submitted. It's no wonder it was denied.
