Hello everyone. This is Vince, I am Jeanne's Husband. I am happy to report that I was able to bring Jeanne home from the hospital this morning. This has been a tough few days, but Jeanne did excellently. She had some problems with a partially collapsed lung that she had to deal with the first 2 days, but she did the breathing exercises, walked the halls and bounced back. As previously reported, Jeanne had a problem with the pain medication she was initially given but once that was changed, she improved greatly. I am glad we are home, but honistly, I am also a little scared. I will be working hard (along with Jeanne's mom, Katie) to watch for any warning signs that would require attention. Our children are just happy that MOM is back and that things can return to a more normal pace. I had alot of time to reflect on our lives together as I waited the 3+ hours for Dr. Oh to complete the procedure, ever waiting for some update. I realize now more than ever, exactly how much Jeanne means to me. As her husband, I found it difficult being only able to watch and support her. I could not take her pain away. I realized also that this was about Jeanne and for Jeanne. She did this for herself, in return, we, thouse who love her will be able to enjoy her life for many, many years to come. I intend to grow very old, gray and wrinkled with my wife. This will just help us accomloish that!
God Bless you all! Vince Hayes
