Was wanting you to know that it is about 30 days post surgery and I am right on track as far as my weight is supposed to be. Life might have been a bit easier if I didn't have to move in the middle of of my recovery.. but it is all working out ok. I feel that I have gotten further along then I would have had I hadn't had the surgery. Its hard to remember all the pain in my legs and knees everytime I took a step, that has been gone about 15-20#'s ago. I have given myself some grace since moving in to just get what I really needed out and work on the rest when I could, I am not trying to push myself. I am getting my workout in, that is priority to me. I usually do 15-20 mins at work (5 days a week) and have an eliptical at home I am trying to get used to and I will do 5 mins or so when I am home. There is a greater drive time so that gives me less time, but I love being out in the country and I will really love it when it cools off some in spring and fall. I am not so sure about the winter? But my 3 year old loves it. I had a slight self induced complications.. it was more like a struggle with chicken and the chicken won for a while.. But I overcame. As a matter of fact I am as good as new now, thanks to Dr. Olsen.

Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~ JudyAnne
