I am 51 a computer freak. Blogging is new to me. I joined this to make new friends & maybe get some questions answered for my hubby & meself. Hopefully down the road I can do the answering. When my kids were small I ran a web site selling star wars toys so I got to stay home with them.The love of my life - my husband had gastric bypass on 10-14-08. I get my surgey Nov. 10th 2008 with Dr. Eric Wilson in Texas. I am so excited about this new stepping stone in our life. Getting Healthy & staying healthy.
I have wonderful kids. My favorite oldest child is a man now at 27. He has giving us a sweet daughter-in-law, a 13 year old granddaughter and the second love of my life my "grandson" who will be "1" on Nov 20th. My favorite middle child is also a man at 23. Last but not least is my favorite youngest child a wonderful woman of 19. They are both in college at this time hope they keep up the good work. 
My hubby & I went to the first meeting required by our Insurance on Valintines Day 2008 YEP we gave up candy on that day to work on getting this surgery. Wish us luck in our journey, as we wish all of you. "LET THE POUNDS COME OFF"
