"So, I previously wrote a negative comment on here about the way I felt the WLC and Dr. Davidson handled my infection after my surgery. I am here to retract that statement… It’s been years now since I had my band removed and I recently tried to find another surgeon to do a gastric bypass revision on me. Because of the complications, and being “high risk” I’ve been denied everywhere I went… then I circled back to the WLC and they also denied me and I was angry. But in that anger, I realized that I left the previous comment on here when I was angry. I was upset and hurt and sad and frustrated, but you know what? I needed someone to blame and I blamed Dr. Davidson- which was completely not fair. Dr. Davidson did everything he could to help me. It’s not his fault my band got infected. I knew the risks beforehand and infection was one of them. Any time I had a question or concern, it was answered. So please, if you’ve steered clear of this practice because of my review (which I doubt, but hey, anything’s possible) please understand that Dr. Davidson is a good doctor, but make sure you know ALL of the risks associated with the lap band. Dr. Davidson and WLC, I am sorry."
