Sandra: Being afraid is normal. I was afraid but I was more afraid not to have surgery and now I am so happy that I conquered the fear. I feel so good that it is hard to explain after finding out that I felt so bad. That sounds weird but I just had no idea how bad I felt until now. Anyway, we will be thinking of you on your date and good luck! Pam

Hi Sandra, It is very normal to be nervous and anxious, and escited at the same time. Keeping you in prayer and trusting the Lord for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. Sandra, it's normal to have pre-op fears and concerns. You will be amazed with the life changes you are about to experience. I will keep you in my prayers for a safe surgery and speedy recovery.

Sandra- Good luck on the beginning of your new life. You will have alot of mixed emotions as your time draws nearer but just remember a return to better health is at the end of this hurdle. I'm 56 years old, had open RNY Jan. 2003. I've lost 119#s and would do it all over again. I've had no complications and am getting ready to have my TT. Good luck and pop into the OFF board anytime you have any concerns. Barb

Sandra, I know you are scared...we all were...but I have faith that you will do well. Follow all the rules and directions from your doctor, ask lots of questions. We are all here for you and that a mighty big cheering section!!! Lotsa hugs! Patty
