SANDRA I WILL BE THINKING ABOUT YOU AND PRAYING FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE OUT COME FOR SURGERY - I THINK WE ALL HAVE OUR DOUBTS PRIOR TO THIS LIFE ALTERING DECISION - I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO SURGERY WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WAS AHEART ATTACK - UP TO THAT POINT I WAS SCARED ENOUGH TO ALMOST BACK OUT OF THE SURGERY - IT WAS MY HOSPITAL STAY THAT MADE ME REALIZE THAT WLS WAS THE RIGHT CHOICE - NO ONE WANTS TO SIT AROUND AND WAIT FOR A HEART ATTACK OR STROKE TO HAPPEN - YOU WILL DO FINE - AND YOUR WHOLE WORLD WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS - GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND I WISH GREAT THINGS FOR YOU IN THE FUTURE - YOU DESERVE THEM! Sandy, Best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I understand there was a bump in the road this weekend. Please know taht youi will make the right decisions about what to do. Ask for help on the board. Everyone wil do their best to support you. Whatever you decide you are in my prayers. Pat

Sandra, Stay strong! I'm 19 days post-op and was just as scared prior to surgery but, so glad I did it. I was taking 14 pills a day for diabetes, high blood pressure ect. and am down to taking 1 pill a day now. A pure miracle! My high blood pressure is gone and my diabetes is controled by diet and exercise only. This surgery gives you a new healthy life! My thoughts and prayers will be with you for an uneventful surgery and a speedy recovery. God Bless, Dru

SANDRA, MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. IN NO TIME AT ALL YOU WILL BE SO GLAD YOU HAD THIS SURGERY. I AM NOW OFF OF ALL DIABETIC MEDS AND BLOOD PRESSURE MEDS. I FELT THAT IF I DIDN'T DO THIS, I WOULD WIND UP ON DIALISIS, AND IT IS SO SAD WATCHING MY SISTER WITH ALL SHE IS GOING THRU. I THANK GOD FOR THIS SURGERY AND THE NEW LIFE HE HAS GIVEN ME.
