Tomorrow is my one year anniversary and I reached my goal 5 days ago and even lost another pound since then. I now weigh 139 with a BMI if 23.9, a far cry from 47.7 when I started. Instead of a size 28, I wear a size 8. What a new life I have. I am so thrilled and so blessed. I turned 50 the other day and I am a NEW WOMAN. I highly recommend this surgery to anyone who is stuck in the wrong size body. It is a little scary but it is so worth it.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME! I can't believe it but today is my six month anniversary and I have lost 109 lbs. to date. That plus the 35 lbs. I lost before surgery makes 142 lbs--that's more than my ideal weight. I can't believe it. A whole person. I am so thankful--to God, to Dr. Case and to Lisa and Eileen for their help, support, and friendship. I had my check up on Friday and Dr. Case gave me a referral to a plastic surgeon for my panniculectomy...I can't believe that is going to happen so soon either. God is SOOOO GOOD!

I am now 5 1/2 months post op and have lost 102 lbs. I am now a member of the CENTURY CLUB--hooray for me. To say I am thrilled is an understatment. I weigh less now than when I got married. I can sit on my husband's lap without killing him. I have 43 more lbs. to go to make my goal. I can only say thank you to Lisa and Eileen for all their help and support, and to Dr. Case, for his expertise. They have made my success possible. They are the best. I have a new life. How exciting!

Today I am three months post-op and down 70 lbs. I feel great. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to have this surgery. Thank God --it has saved my life.

Woo Hoo!!! Eight weeks out and 48 lbs. gone forever. I cannot believe I have lost 48 lbs. around. I have almost no clothes to wear, everything is so big. I am now in a 1x or size 18/20 down from a 5x or size 28. My energy level is almost back to normal. I feel really really good. God is so good.

Just dropping in for my 7 week post op update. As of today I have lost 43 lbs. I can hardly believe my eyes. Last night, I opened a bin with my "SKINNY" clothes (size 18 & 20) and they fit. I nearly jumped out of my skin. The surgery really changed my life. I walk every day and that really is the key--exercise is so important. To all the pre-ops out there, keep the faith and keep on trucking. Your day will be here before you know it.

I am doing the happy dance right now. I am six weeks out and down 38 lbs. I just checked my BMI and I am down from 47.7 to 41.2 I can't believe it has gone down that much. I am still morbidly obese but not for long. I am so glad that I had this surgery. I still can't believe it's done. I am walking every morning and the weight just keeps dropping off. I hardly ever get hungry and just a little bit of food fills me up. Dr. Case, you have changed my life. Thank you thank you thank you.
