I've been fat nearly my whole life. It all went downhill afyer my tonsils were removed when I was six - never to be thin again. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome in my mid-twenties while I was pursuing infertility treatment. I became interested in WLS then, but my insurance would not approve it, because I didn't have co-morbidities. That's all changed now 
. I was just approved last week, and had my consult on Friday - my surgery is scheduled for September 29. Woot! Can't wait to be on the other side!
