"I met Dr Broussard at the initial seminar. He was very informative about the different types of bariatric surgery. Over the next few weeks (pre-surgery) I met with him several times and he answered all the questions I presented to him thoughtfully. The staff was great. I was assigned to a patient advocate who answered my calls and e-mails promptly. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The aftercare was explicitly explained and emphasized. Support is offered through weekly support group meetings where there were all levels of post-WLS patients available to answer questions on all levels. Dr Broussard has performed a large number of WL Surgeries and is very competent as a surgeon. He's also a very likeable person and has good bedside manner.
