"Dr. Kurian is awesome! As a woman, she has a unique understanding of women's issues with the band. She is young and is a leading laparoscopic surgeon (read - not set in the old ways). She works well with patients and really cares about us. Read more in my journal. <br><br> 5/17/01 I met with Dr. Kurian today for a consultation about Lap-Band surgery. I attended a support group session that see and Dr. Mitchell Roslin held at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Kurian and Dr. Roslin work as a team on the procedure. They are both very down to earth, patient with questions (I peppered the two of them with questions for nearly two hours last night!). the office staff is lovely. <br><br> 7/6/01 I love Dr. Kurian!!! Please see my journal for more comments. <br><br> 7/17/01 I can't say enought about Dr. Kurian and Dr. Roslin. They are some of the smartest, most caring people I know. They run a monthly support gorup themselves - not run by a staff member - both of them together, in a room, for two hours, each month! Unheard of. This is just one example of their commitment to their patients."
