Hi Diane, i just read your post on the message board and wanted to wish you well.My surgery took 2 and a half hours, but to me it seemed like 5 minutes from the time I went to sleep until I awoke. My first 2 days were really rough and painful, but once I started getting out of that bed I felt better everyday. Everyone at the hospital were so nice and helpful. Dr. Gonzales did a beautiful job with the incision and I only have a very thin scar when it fully healed. ****You will do just fine. Here is my wls prayer poem,I post it for everyone crossing over.. receive it as your own... ***Great God is with you*** **psalms 91** How great is the Lord!! Praise him, he is with you all your days. His blood will cover you and he will keep you in all your ways. As you walk through the valley he is there. As you cross over to the otherside he will share. For he orders his angels to protect you wherever you may be. He holds your future in HIS hands, and tomorrow his power you will see! His angels will be a fence of protection around you. God is holding your hand and seeing you through. Rest tonight in perfect peace of mind. For HE holds the surgeon's hand steady and divine. God himself will shield you with his wings so blessed. Do not be afraid, for his faithful promises are your armor and protection , and he will give you rest. So rejoice in him and take your short walk to the otherside. For you dwell in the safety of The Almighty and under his wings you SHALL abide!

Hi all, Well I go in on Monday the 23rd at 7:30 AM for open RNY...just finished writing Bob Haller a no fear pep talk - we are surgical twins. I just hope that when they cut me open that these butterflies that are doing the pre-op jitterbug in my stomach fly far away each taking 10 pounds with them! Keep a good thought out for me and all the soon to be posties! Diane
