Hey everybody, I had my first post-op exam today and I couldn't be happier. I had my staples removed, and I got a B-12 shot, and I was cleared to move on to the next phase of the diet. Oh yeah, I almost forgot...lol, I lost 32 lbs in my first two weeks.

Hang in there Dennis!! I keep reading all these and almost got myself scared as mine will not be til 10/26. But i keep telling myself that this too shall pass. Thank the Good Lord we have a great doctor. I wish you a speedy recovery and know prayers are heading your way!! Susan in Shawnee

I had some complications w/ my surgery and had to go back to the hospital. I reacted to the blood thinner they put me on and developed a clot in my stomach pouch...Dr. Floyd suctioned it out and I am back home and doing good now...actually feel better than before. Thanks for all your positive energy - I know it has helped!! Dennis

Had my surgery on Thursday morning. Everything went really well. I am back home now, on clear liquids and feeling good except that I tire out easily... Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts, wishes, and prayers...I am so excited to be starting my new life... Dennis
