"I had my first consulation with Dr. Jay on January 11,2001. I had researched WLS for about 2 years. I wanted to know all I could about the surgery before I saw the Dr. I was very impressed with Dr. Jay. He answered all of my questions and made me feel that I had made the right decision. The only thing that worried me was the fact that he has only been doing Lap. RNY's sence November of 2000. I worry that he may have to revert to an OPEN RNY. He says that the Lap. will take more time during surgery. I don't like the sound of that at all. I don't want to be out any longer then I have to be.
The staff at Neweigh are awesome!! Debbie,Diane and Leigh are wonderful. They have walked me though this process with great care and understanding.
Newight stresses the aftercare program, it is the learning sessions that help you get to your new self. They motivate and teach you everything you will need to know to be successful with your new "TOOL" and be a loser!!!
