Congratulations on your decision to do this! I believe it is going to make your life better. I am having surgery in exactly one week! Maybe our paths will cross in the chat room or in email. Good luck on your surgery and speedy recovery! Your friend in WLS,
Dave, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November at Abbott NW, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
Dave-I wish you the very best in your upcoming surgery. You will be amazed at the transition you go through in the first month. I had my surgery in May and am amazed at how wonderful I feel. I did have a few hard days after coming home but nothing I couldn't handle. People are often worried about the pain that they will experience but believe me you will be surprised that it's not as bad as you thought it would be. Good luck to you, and Congratulations!
