Well, it hasn't been too terrible. I didn't have pain issues at all. Some soreness and tiredness. Medicine was very helpful.  The diet is boring, but looks to get better next Tuesday when I can eat full solids. I go for my first fill in 5 weeks so somewhere around Jan 17th. Hopefully I will be lucky and won't experience Bandster Hell...

I made it through the first day of my liquid diet. It was tough during certain parts of the day. I know the weekend will be harder, but I will have to try to find things to occupy me. Now on to day 2...

Well, tomorrow I begin my pre-op liquid diet. I am eating a few things that I know I will miss. Hopefully it will help to have had them recently when I have surgery and can't scarf them down. Here goes nothin'...or everything.

Well, today I went for my preadmitting. Two weeks until surgery and I feel like I need to go home and study for a test! There is so much to remember about what and how to eat, I may lose my mind before I lose any weight! The doctor's office is very nice and the people are helpful. I didn't expect to be asked for $3000 when I went to Centennial, but they are working with me. If I had known I needed to prepay, I probably would have put the surgery off until 2008. It was stressful! But, I made it through. The Bariatric team is very nice.  I begin my 7 day liquid diet on the 20th. This is going to be a challenge...
