I have been over weight most of my life. I've tried just about everything to lose weight and keep it off. I found out 2 years ago that I have PCOS. I felt some relief knowing that there was a reason why I have struggled with my weight for soooo many years. I started to feel like I was lazy because I couldn't keep up with a diet and exercise routine. It takes so long for me to lose weight. I also felt like I would never be an average weight bescause of the PCOS. The doctor told me the only way I could lose weight is through low carb. low sugar diet. Are you kidding me? I've tried this diet so many times. I would lose weight very slow and become discouraged. I'm hoping this surgery will be my tool to help keep the PCOS at bay. I have two young beautiful baby boys that I want to keep up with for the rest of my life.
