"I would do it again in a heartbeat! Clean, most helpful staff, very personal and attentive to all your needs. All are upbeat, happy and right on top of everything! Dr. Almanza really knows what he is doing, very smart man! As well as all of the staff! He gives you several tests and checks everything out before he agrees to give you surgery. He explains every detail of what is envolved and actually takes time to answer your questions! Even sends an x-ray home with you. The owner Dr. Betancourt is just precious! Will help you anyway he can and has been down the same road we are all traveling as far as weight loss surgery goes. He sends you home with plenty of meds and prescripts. The best coordinator is Melissa Bracker, I met a couple and she is the one you want to help you trust me! She was in and out the whole time we were there checking on us, visiting with us & making sure we have everything. Just email or call her, she is there for you after the surgery as well she works directly with the Dr's. daily .. The other 2 lady's that had surgery the same day were just as happy as I was. So no fear! Dr. Almanza at the Jerusalem Clinic gives the best care for your precious, hard earned money! I will most likely go back for a body lift next year cause I know I am going to have lots of skin! That is where I will go if I do it!
Tijuana itself is a little different, they all drive with there own rules! And Jerusalem clinic's drivers will get you there and back safely, they know there way around there for sure! I would not pay any attention to the few people on here who try to discourage you, they work for the other guys that's what that's all about! I will finish saying there surgical competence and professional ability is unquestionable. As for bedside manner, you couldn't ask for any better. The guideline for this is to let you know all positives and negatives, the only slightly bad thing was with new patients coming in and out of the recovery house daily it is a little chaotic but not enough to mention. And a little language barrior with some of the staff, but there is someone there to translate if they don't understand. They took very good care of my husband, fed him well and took him to the store when he asked. ALL GOOD!!!!!!
