"I met Dr. Simper last week, he seems very confident. He was very informative and straight to the point... this is serious business!!! He said he refuses to preform surgery on a patient if you think you can't handle taking your vitamins and following protocol. I know 2 people...one is my cousin he did surgery on and they did great. no complications. I feel confident I have chosen a good surgeon after talking with my pcp,gasteroenterologist and a couple people I know that works with him at RMAP. Dr.Simper indicated that the risks of death between the 3 Dr.s at his office is 1 in 800-1000. That is comforting compared to 1 in 200 nationally or the last I heard from RMAP was 1 in 500. I am assuming the lap procedure has reduced the risks significantly. Oh yeah... he told me he expected to see me at the top of Timpanogas soon!!! I promise Dr. Simper!!!!"
