CONGRATULATIONS MAGGIE!!!! AMOS family, please welcome the latest "loser" to the other side...MAGGIE BURKE! Maggie had lap rny earlier today and she looks GREAT! I just came from the hospital and she was moving around some more and getting ready to walk the halls. We had not in person until today and let me tell you, for someone who just had surgery, she is 1 smart cookie! She was doing great and kept up quite well with the family conversation. It was so great to see a fellow WLS sister who even had the same surgeon. I am looking forward to sharing many success and new healthy habits with my new friend! Maggie Burke's Unofficial Angel flying in to request support for her surgery TODAY!!!! I have just started getting to know Maggie, via email and I am so excited for her to have her day today!! She sounds like she has a great support system already, but we can all use as much as possible for the big day!
