Hi Linda- I have found the 'window' for losing to be much longer than the 6 mos you heard. I am one year post op and still losing. You gotta work the tool, girl! For me, after 6 mos, it slowed doen, but I am still losing. And returning to the basics-protein only- jumpstarted the weight loss again. I am committed to maximizing my 'window' of 18-24 mos to lose all my excess weight. Good luck!
