Wow, where to begin. My earliest memory about overweight people was the comments my dad would make about them. I kept my weight in check in my teens and twenties but after having my daughter in my thirties, the weight just kept going up. I was active by going to the gym a few times a week. I was on every diet imaginable, lost weight but eventually put it back on and more. As the years went on, I steadily gained and health problems followed. I was diagnoised with Type II diabetes, have knee and back pain, snoring, along with shortness of breath. I can only go up or down the stairs one stair at a time. It hurts to walk. So I realized I became one of those people that my dad used to comment about. I looked in rny surgery about two years ago but I did not want to take the easy way out. After alot more researching and reading the forums, boy do I take that back. So I started taking steps to be able to have the surgery.
