Hello all im not good at telling stories but I guess I will give it a try... Since  I could remeber I have always been over weight. I would say that I was Chubby (thick) you know as a lil tike. lol. But i never really felt FAT and maybe that was because my mom never let anyone talk about me in that way or i just had that kind of personality that kids didnt talk about me or make me feel like I was over weight probably because we were all aorund the same size! LOL. (No i'm kidding) Anyway I would say I put my most resent weight on between 2001 until now and it wasnt until 2003 that i noticed my weight. My brother got married and we had to take all those pics well when those pics came back and i seen what I looked like I  wanted to  faint because that was the first time I had seen myself and I didnt look like a chubby(thick) girl anymore I looked  OBESE... So I began working out and trying different diets over the years with only being successful enough to lose 15 to 20 here/there and then gain it back plus some. So I had come to the conclusion that I would have to accept being the size I was because I had been diagnosed with PCOS and the side effects of that alone would work against me. Well in 2006 I decided to try weight loss surgery and in the process of that  I was successful with lossing 20 lbs. After talking with my insurance company they wanted me to try other options as well as diet documentation. Within a month and a half  I mysteriously began to pack on the lbs plus some I went to the doc to find out WHY I had gained weight and he told me your PREGNANT! So while I was pregnant I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes (GREAT). So after my son was born everything went back to normal I got to it and started eating better and exercising and dropped 30lbs my all time high... Some where down the line it came back (WHAT IS GOING ON!). So I tried counting calories and had been up and down every since. Well I went to the E.R. in April of 2008 and was diagnosed with type two diabetes and put on numerous medications as well as insulin. In May 2008 I went to the E.R. my back went out on me and I couldnt walk and was out of work for a whole week I was diagnosed with siatica. So when I went for my follow up with my primary doctor I told him their was something we were gonna have to do because I have a one year old son that I cant hardly pick up at times. My sugar up and down and for him to put me on a chlolestrol medication because it is slitly elevated and I'm only 27 years old (at that time 26) enough was enough. He gave me information to get started and my journey began in July. So thats how I ended up here sharing my story with you all. (hope it was a good one)
