Mike, I understand your fear, all of us go through that. But, for a minute, don't think of this surgery as a weight loss goal, think about it as a health and life enhancing goal. You have made the connection as to having new ways of enjoying your "new" life with your children, very important! Now think about all the things you will be able to do! Some people start lists on their profiles. Everything from putting on shoes by bending over as opposed to the contorsions we have to go through before surgery and how about getting up off the floor easily. There are so many things you can do with your "new" life! Hang in there - you're worth it!

Hi Mike, What cuties your children are. Just been there (RNY) and wishing you a safe and successful surgery and journey. As you go into the surgery try to keep thoughts of those cuties and your wife in your head. You are young and will heal quickly, way to go guy!

Wishing you much luck and success on your journey! Relax and enjoy. IT's an amazing one! Worries are natural, but you'll find it was easier than you feared. God be with you. Jan
