Hi Mike, We all have fears, but remember, your surgeon will not perform the surgery unless s/he feels you will be successful. They will be sure you are healthy enough. This is a wonderful opportunity! I am so glad I did it. I had lap RNY, and never had a moment's problem! Very little pain. Read all you can about others and count on us to be there for you as well! Hey Mike, You know what? You are going to do just great! We have a greater chance of dieing in a car accident than from this surgery, so dont worry about. Just look at the before and after pictures and dream of your new life, until your turn comes to experiance it. It will be quite the journey....Bumpy at times, but worth it...Good luck and I am saying prayers for you! Blessings!! Betheny~
