21 years since WLS-

Aug 17, 2015

it's now been 21 years since my surgery. I feel it's been successful. I am 15 pounds  heavier than my lowest weight.  They say if you can keep off that much you've done well. I will always keep trying to lose a few pounds but I feel great!  It's a tool. Follow the Drs. Rules and you will do much better. Dr. Felix really impressed on me certain things and I have followed them. Good luck to all!!!!

It has been 15 years that I have been on this journey. All I can say is "wow, what a ride".  I have been through ups and downs but I am still over 110 pounds less than when I had my surgery, so I feel I am a success story. I know that if I hadn't had this done when I did I would have had many health issues. As of now, all that I have had is having to watch my iron levels. God has truly been great to me. I feel so Blessed today. I'm glad that this forum is still here and I will be coming back often, since there really is no support groups available for me. I wish you all the blessings that I have had. It all began with research from me, here on this site in 2000. God Bless!   -  Cindy
