Well, after being at a job that, would not purchase the "obesity rider" so that I could get approved for the surgery, I have had to resign, and use the retirement I have had saved through them and go self pay. Drastic yes!!!! Vital to my utter survival... HELL YES!!!! All I want to do is preserve my life!!! I want to live longer and better!!! So a brutha had to do what a brutha had to do!!!! My consult will be on Dec 15 which is when I will have to give 1000$, then the day of my surgery another 1500$. after the surgery another 1500$, and then I will have to pay another 9000$ over a period of 3 years. Altogether my surgery cost 13,000$ not including a nutritionist, and psych eval....smh. Again I think that my life is worth it!!!!!!!
