I went to the support group meeting tonight with my boyfriend. It was fun, lots of nice people, got a bag with a bunch of stuff in it, and a T-shirt. There was a raffle, and that was fun too. Well, thats it for now. Take care.

Tomorrow I am going to the Gastric Bypass support group at the Sentara Careplex hospital. It is at 7 pm and it is supposed to be a holiday get together for the weight loss participants. They are going to have gastric bypass friendly food, and I am taking my boyfriend. Wish me luck!

I went to Dr. Clark's office today and did the computerized test. It was pretty simple stuff. I am waiting for the psychologist to call me back to schedule an appointment. I can't wait. My preacher (I consider him like a father) is going to loan me $100 to go toward the $550 for the surgery. Plus I paid the $30 for the test today so now I only owe about $420. Yay!!! I will keep you all updated.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to tell you all that I am going to be doing the computerized test for Dr. Clark on Monday, the 4th. I hope I pass it, they told me that I am a candidate, and hopefully everything will have a way of working itself out. Take care.

Today I woke up and after thinking long and hard all night about the out of pocket costs for my VBG Gastric Bypass surgery, I decided that I will somehow save the money for the surgery. I don't know how I am going to do it, I just have to figure that part out. Wish me luck on this new part of my journey!!

I went to the seminar tonight, but I am dissapointed that there is about $550 out of pocket costs that I have to pay for before the surgery can be done. I am upset because I live on disability, and it will be extremely hard to obtain this much money in a resonable amount of time. I am still going to see what I can do though.

Tomorrow evening my boyfriend and I are attending Dr. Clark's seminar on Gastric Bypass surgery from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm. I hope that I receive very informative information so that I can make my decisions accordingly.
