Hello all.

You can just call me Al, not Big Al, which is one of the 1st things I am looking forward to not hearing anymore once I lose the weight. Like others, I have been big all my life, and after failing many times in weight loss programs, dieting, exercising, I am looking forward to the "tool" that might give me the advantage again in being healthy for the 1st time. Having done everything else, now I wil finally have something else working for me to be what I was never in real life, slim and healthy.

Not sure what to put in or leave out...I'm a African American male, 42, married, with one young son, who will be four next month. We live in a townhome in Newark, DE. I am orginally from Flushing Meadows, NY, but grew up in Somerset, NJ, exit 9 off the NJ Turnpike.I work for the State of Delaware as a Judicial Case Processing Clerk, but I am trying to find others State employment doing something that suits me better. I do a lot of reading, and am working to go back to starting writing again, this posting will be a big start for me.
