Been MIA but I'm back

We have a trip to Boston and Washington, D.C. planned in 2 months so I'd like to get 20 lbs off by then.
Beginning today I'm on a protein shake diet and having a 'sensible' dinner. Planning on doing this for 1-2 weeks and then progressing my lunch to regular food. I always start the day with CLICK (LOVE IT!!!) so at least I know I'll start the day right.
I also walk to the busstop in the morning/afternoon (1.5 miles each way) so that's a bonus. I need to add some addtional exercise in though and am thinking of joining a gym again. I'm undecided on that....
My clothes are not fitting right these days and I refuse to buy another size up so I need to get the weight off. It's amazing how differently I felt at 210 that I do at 238....that 28 lbs really makes a difference!
Well, 1 day down and many to go. I'm in this for the long haul.

So far I've come up with:
1. Drinking too many calories
2. Grazing too much in the afternoon
3. Not planning meals
4. Not exercising enough
5. Not journaling my food on fitday
My plan for each is:
1. Drink water only (with Propel) and up to 1 diet pop per day
2. STOP GRAZING...I need to keep myself busy when I get home from work
3. Start planning meals the day ahead
4. Start walking 30 min at work and 30 min at home (this will help with #2)(goal = 12,000 steps per day)
5. Journal each day and the next day on fitday

Clothing Sizes

When I was pre-op I was still able to buy some clothes at Lane Bryant however even the 26/28 tops were getting too small. The size 28 jeans fit but were a little tight. When they switched to the new sizing system (which I still don't like) the largest size (8) was too small. I was getting to the point where I was buying a lot of clothes online because the stores didn't carry by size anymore.
Pre-Op:
Lane Byrant 26/28 tops and size 28 jeans
Macys: nothing fit
JC Penney: tops didn't fit and I could only wear the Sag Harbor stretch waist bottoms in a womens plus size 24 (largest size)
Shoes: had to buy online only because I needed a wide or extra wide
7 months post-op:
Lane Byrant 14/16 tops and I don't like their pants
Avenue: don't buy tops there but I buy the size 18 jeans (but will need a 16 soon)
Macys: 1x in tops, don't buy the pants there
JC Penney: 1x tops are getting too big, Sag Harbor pants in size misses 16 (not a womens 16)
Shoes: can buy them anywhere and I wear a medium width now
