Talked to Amber this AM, and she sounds great! Says that she feels feally good, no pain, just uncomfortable. But, we all know what that is.....and she was up in the chair. They had to restart her IV 3 different times, but other than that, she seems to be doing fine. She has been put on clear liquids, but had not gotten them yet. She should be able to go home on Sat evening, according to Dr V. He came in this morning and said that everything went well and that she is doing great! Yay, Amber! You did it! Nothing but good times ahead now.......Stay positive and strong, and you will do just fine! Welcome to the "other side". Love Ya!

So glad to hear your surgery went well and Dr. V was able to do it Lap. I'm praying that everything continues to go smoothly, and remember.....every day gets better. Congratulations on being a LOSER!!!!!

Just got off the phone with Ambers mom, and Amber is now a LOSER! Dr Voellinger was able to do everything LAP, THANK GOD! Dr V, you ROCK! He said that it took a little longer than he thought, but that all went great and she will be in recovery for a few hours and then off to her room. If she can tolerate pureed foods, she can go home on Sat evening. He wants her up and moving this evening, due to increased chance of blood clots. And I think she can do it! I will call later to see how things are going, and will update more, when I get home from work this evening. You did it, Amber! You should be so proud! You are on your way to a healthier, and happier life, for you and for Kelsey! Love ya, girl!

Well, all seems to be going well. Talked to Amber this AM, on her way to the hospital and she said that she was a little nauseated, but other than that, ready to get this over with. Talked to her mom at about 1030am, said that she is in the OR and that they said it could take up to 3 hours, but they said that about mine too. She should be out by now and I am hoping to hear from Amber's mom, soon. As soon as I know anything, I will post again, but until then, God Bless you Amber and we are ALL praying hard for you! We love you! WAY TO GO, AMBER!
