"Dr. Frederick W. JohnsonrnThe very first moment I met Dr. Johnson I wasrnimpressed with him. I was afraid I wouldrnnot be a candidate for the lap band or anyrnbariatric surgery as I weighed 208# and tornmany I \"appeared\" to not be an acceptablerncandidate. I am 5'2\" and when my BMI wasrncalculated I was 38 plus I have diabetes, hypertension, high colesterol, oeteo-arthritisrnin my knees and hips, etc. Dr. Johnson assuredrnme I am a good candidate for the RNY surgery and as I was concerned as tornwhether he would be able to operate be-rncause of my hernia surgical scar on myrnabdomen between my upper chest tornmy pelvis area. He did talk of the possibility of scar tissue interfering with part of the RNY surgery but that being a problem was rare. rnI am looking forward to my surgery on Aprilrn15, 2008.I think he is excellent and I am very happy to be working with him and Sandy, the Bariatric Nurse Clinician.rnI have been given pamphlets and a bookrn on what to expect for the surgery.rnI am very satisfide and confident that every-rnthing will be good. I am enthusiastic to workrnwith Dr.Johnson and his staff and my nut. Lisa.rnThese are my personal impressions of my own personal experiences with these people and I am making no statements about what other people experience. Barbara"
