Sorry about not posting any updates for a few days, but my computer has been in the shop. Amy had a minor setback Thursday night when she developed a low grade fever. They did some testing Friday morning and determined that she had a pinhead size leak, so they decided to keep her in the hospital at least over the weekend. We were both hoping she would be coming home on Friday so there was a little disappointment. She very quickly got over it and decided that she didn't want to go home and then have to come back because the problem didn't correct itself without surgical help. I talked with her this morning and she ws excited that they had added "Boost" to her menu in additon to the jello, broth, and furit juice. Chuck Osborne.

Visited with Amy for about an hour this afternoon. She told me that she did not have as much pain today and was generally feeling better. Still not happy with all the tubes, but hopefully they will be removed soon. Looks like she will probably be moved from ICU into a regular room soon, maybe even later today. Will give you another update tomorrow. Chuck Osborne

I spent three hours with Amy this morning. She is still having pain, but the heartburn seems to have gone away. She is still very sleepy do to the pain medication. She took a little longer walk this morning and they hope to get her to extend her walk each time. Dr. Haiken visited her this morning and was pleased with her progress. She is scheduled for a test tomorrow to make sure there is no leakeage. Hopefully, she will have the tube removed from her nose tomorrow and be able to be moved to a regular. I know our daughters are very anxious to visit with their mother. Thanks again for your prayers and kind words. Chuck Osborne
