Nikki, I am wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a quick, smooth recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and have absolutely NO regrets. I can honestly say, without a doubt, that its the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you start your healthy new life!

Just wanted to take a moment to wish you all the very best in your up-coming surgery. I am scheduled to have the same surgery the very same day. However I live in Florida. Hi Nikki, Best of luck to you on your upcoming surgery!! I remember how happy, nervous, scared and excited I was just before mine. It is the best thing u can do for yourself, it is hard in the beginning but you'll do GREAT! You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Hey Nikki. How's things going? It's getting closer Good Luck with your surgery. Mine is with Dr Shina as well, but not until april 18th. feel free to email me. since you are having yours first I'd like to talk face to face with someone. I am scared 7 i won't lie, but I'm even more scared of not having the surgery. I wish that I never would have allowed myself to be in this situation. Hello Nikki, Congratulations, on the life changing decision you have made. I am a little over one month out, and I can truly say that I feel so much better. The battle is just beginning, but remember to keep God first, and stay prayerful, and He will bring you trhough.
